Dinan High Performance Intercooler & Stage 3 Engine Software for 335i Models.

Greater power gains are achieved with a larger high performance intercooler and matching Stage 3 Engine Software. The Dinan intercooler provides a 93% increase in total volume, substantially reducing the pressure drop by 0.7 psi, as well as providing more efficient heat exchange. "Cool down" time is also reduced, enabling the cars to produce full power under varying driving conditions such as stop and go traffic. The system has been engineered as a direct replacement for the stock unit, requiring only minor modifications for a clean, factory-like installation. The intercooler also features larger connector tubing and custom shrouding for maximum efficiency.
The intercooler may be installed in conjunction with Stage 2 Performance Engine Software as well, producing an additional 5 horsepower as well as more consistent performance under varying driving conditions. The improved thermal efficiency will also enhance turbocharger reliability. The intercooler may also be used with other manufacturer's tuning products, however the matching new car warranty coverage does not apply in these cases.
Note: The intercooler will not fit vehicles equipped with Active Cruise Control, unless the unit is removed.
Stage 3 Engine Software/Boost Upgrade
Dinan Stage 3 Engine Software has been developed specifically for use with the Dinan intercooler, high capacity oil cooler and free flow exhaust, producing 398 horsepower and 429 lb-ft torque. The revised calibrations take full advantage of the Dinan high performance intercooler by increasing boost pressure for maximum power output.
In order to qualify for Dinan’s matching new car warranty coverage, which includes consequential damages, the vehicle MUST be equipped with a Dinan oil cooler in addition to the high performance intercooler. The intercooler may be purchased and installed without the required components or for use with other manufacturer's intercoolers/tuning kits, however the matching new car warranty coverage does not apply in these cases.
Stage 1 Engine Software/Boost Upgrade
Dinan's new Stage 1 Performance Engine Software for BMW 335, as well as 135 and 535 models, provides a more modest increase in boost, eliminating the requirement of an oil cooler for the 335 while providing substantial power gains. And as always, Dinan matches the new car warranty coverage for up to 4 years or 50,000 miles, including the possibility of consequential damages. No one offers better performance or backs it up with such comprehensive warranty coverage.
The Stage 1 Dinan Performance Engine Software safely increases turbo-boost pressure, along with properly retuned fuel mixtures, ignition timing and full map rescaling, bumping output to 366 hp and 379 lb-ft torque! The software also features remapped water pump speeds as boost increases, better controlling operating temperatures which have been notably excessive even at stock boost pressures. A much larger, more efficiently ducted oil cooler has also been developed, further improving heat exchange efficiency for lower and more consistent operating temperatures, even with the added boost pressure. While the oil cooler is not required with the Stage 1 Software, it is still very much recommended for long term reliability and particularly for those who participate in track events.
