Performance Intake Systems for the M5 and M6!

Dinan's is pleased to announce the release of the new High Flow Air Mass Meter and Intake Assemblies for the E60 M5 and E63/64 M6. The system reduces the intake restriction presented by the stock configuration for a better breathing M5/M6.  Increasing the flow of cool, oxygen rich air increases power output by 21 horsepower, as well as providing improved throttle response.

The stock air filter housings are replaced with Dinan's larger volume units that have been designed to accommodate larger oval filters, providing greater surface area for superior flow.  The Dinan air boxes are completely sealed enclosures, virtually eliminating the pressure drop measured with the stock units.  The sealed enclosures also insulate against power-robbing heated air under the hood for maximum power output.

The Dinan High Flow Air Mass Meters are included in the system, providing a full 22% increase in air flow.

The system also includes an air temperature relocation kit that moves the sensors from the air mass meters to the intake "snorkel".  This location provides a far more accurate ambient air temperature reading as it is not affected by heat soaking of the air mass meters.  The result is more consistent power output under varying driving conditions as the engine management system is receiving an accurate air temperature value.  Heat soaking causes an artificially high reading that will result in reduced power output, particularly in stop and go driving conditions.  

The carbon fiber air box lids are both functional and a handsome addition to the engine compartment.  The weave perfectly matches the Dinan front strut tower brace for a very tasteful high performance look.  Select the E60 M5 or E63/64 M6 for more information.
