Dinan Tuned/ BMW Powered DP cars took second, third, ninth, 13th, 14th and 26th at last weekend’s GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
Scott Pruett, co-driving the No. 01 Telcel/TELMEX BMW/Riley with Memo Rojas, moved from sixth to second in the championship standings after passing Dixon with two laps remaining. Dixon and fellow IndyCar driver Dario Franchitti took third in the No. 02 Cessna BMW/Riley.
“It’s close coming down to Lime Rock,” Pruett said. “The No. 10 car has a little breathing room, but hopefully we can turn around our luck at Lime Rock and have a good finish.”
Team Sahlen’s drivers Dane Cameron and Wayne Nonnamaker rounded out the top ten with a solid performance, along with the Dinan Tuned/BMW Powered Starworks Motorsport cars capturing the 13 and 26 spot. We look forward to seeing all of these teams finish the season strong in Lime Rock!
Dinan has worked closely over the years with BMW’s factory motorsports program bringing home three consecutive championships and two wins at the 24 Hours of Daytona along with countless Grand-Am podiums.
