Overview

Stage 3 Engine Software is for use with the High Flow Throttle Body and Cold Air Intake optimizing performance and drivability. Dinan Performance Engine Software unleashes more power by re-programming the fuel mixture and ignition timing parameters of the engine management system. Furthermore, the software safely raises the rev-limit by 200 RPM, giving your BMW a broader power band and greater road speed potential in each gear. Significant gains are also achieved at part throttle, making extra power available where you spend the bulk of the time driving. The top speed governor has also been eliminated, enabling the vehicle to achieve its "natural" top speed.

This part is legal for sale and use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles, in all 50 states, when used in accordance with the manufacturers application guide because it has a California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) number.

The following vehicles are considered Emissions Controlled Vehicles:

Tech Resources

Not compatible with the Z3 2.8 (E36/7/8) from 1999-2000. Dinan Cold Air Intake System and Throttle Body are required in order to run the Stage 3 Performance Engine Software.
