This part is legal for sale and use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles, in all 50 states, when used in accordance with the manufacturers application guide because it has a California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) number.

The following vehicles are considered Emissions Controlled Vehicles:

  • 1966 and newer U.S. manufactured California Certified vehicles
  • 1968 and newer U.S. manufactured Federally Certified vehicles
  • 1968 and newer Foreign manufactured vehicle
Instructions for Part# D440-1639-ST1
This kit is NOT for cars equipped with BMW M-Performance software (MPPK). This version of the DINANTRONICS Performance Tuner is ONLY compatible with vehicles equipped with an electronic wastegate. 335i and 535i's with a manufacture date prior to 07/2013 should utilize a mechanical wastegate. Vehicles with a production date after 06/2013 should utilize an electronic wastegate. Only a visual identification is 100% accurate. Please consult the wastegate identification guide in the installation instructions to accurately identify what is on the vehicle. All 435i's utilize an electronic wastegate.
