Dinanโs BMW S2 M2 relies on plenty of good old-fashioned hot rod hardware, but unlocking the carโs performance potential also involves a solid amount of Silicon Valley-style software engineering. Among the engineโs mechanical upgrades are larger turbochargers for greater power, dual core intercoolers for better cooling, and a carbon-fiber cold-air intake to improve the engineโs efficiency. The engine modifications and Stage 4 software boost the factory-rated 365 hp to 446 hp, and the factory-rated torque climbs from 343 to 458 ft lbs.
